Maruti Suzuki : HYCROSS

We already know that Maruti Suzuki & Toyota have been sharing their cars in past like Baleno, Glanza, Hyryder, Grand Vitara. Similarly, Maruti Suzuki will be launching its version of the Innova Hycross in July 2023. This car will be offered with both petrol and petrol hybrid, a 2.0-litre petrol engine and in many different variants. The size of the car will be similar to the “Toyota Innova”, but with a new front grille, different alloy wheel design and changes in the rear design.

Expected upgrades: 360-degree camera, ventilated, ottoman seats, leather upholstery & safety features like airbags and ADAS with blind-spot monitoring.

Hyundai : EXTER

The second car on the list is the Hyundai Exter, which some may call a micro-SUV or raised hatchback. It will be launched by August 2023 and will be the direct competitor of the Tata Punch. The car will have features such as a bigger touchscreen, reverse parking camera, digital instrument cluster, type-c ports, 6 airbags, ABS+EBD, wireless charging etc. and will be rightly placed between the Hyundai I10 & I20. It is expected to be priced from 7-13 Lakhs, very close to the Hyundai i20 territory.

Expected Pricing: The car would be priced between Hyundai I10 & I20 (around 7-12 Lakhs) competing the likes of Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger.

Honda : ELEVATE

Since the SUV segment is the most demanding in India as of today. Honda is finally launching its first proper SUV in India, with hybrid and ADAS technology. The car’s price is expected to be between 13-22 Lakhs, close to the City’s price. The car will be loaded with features such as electric seats, panoramic sunroof, LED headlights and taillights, wireless charging, and much more.

Expected Specifications : It will be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 6 speed manual and CVT transmissions & a 1.5-litre petrol hybrid engine which will be paired to an iCVT gearbox.

KIA : SELTOS

The fourth car is KIA SELTOS facelift, to be launched with a major facelift which will include a lot of new cosmetic changes like new front grille, Connected type headlamps, Connected treatment on tail lamps that we have already seen on the KIA Carens, new color options, new alloy wheels, interior changes. On a feature level it would receive a new gear lever, newly designed steering wheel, updated instrument cluster and much more. Another upgrade for KIA Seltos is ADAS, after MG Astor the brand new KIA Seltos will become the second SUV in compact SUV category to offer ADAS.

KIA will stick to the two existing engine options – 1.5-litre non-turbo petrol & 1.5-litre diesel engines. However the 1.4- litre turbo petrol engine is discontinued & will be replaced by the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 158 bhp of power, making it the most powerful SUV in the category.

TATA : NEXON Facelift

The fifth, last but most awaited car is TATA NEXON Facelift. This car has been spotted around by many of us & has been talked & discussed a lot among the Car enthusiasts. The car is expected to get many upgrades & changes can assure you that the car will get many major changes like new headlamps (most probably LED lights), new design tail lamps pattern, a new digital instrument cluster & a new two-spoke steering wheel previously seen on the Curvv and Sierra.
